Host family day with the Hiraoka family

Taku-kun and Rei-kun were still at Aikido camp. So I was alone with Toshi-san and Satomi-san. Today my body could not move 9 o'clock in the morning. I fell asleep again and woke up 10 o'clock. Way too late. Because I would go play soccer with the team of Taku-kun. I ate breakfast and then we went, after all, to the remaining hour of Taku-kun's team practice. It was a true exprecience: playing a soccer match in the early morning in the heat of a day in Abiko City, Japan.

After the tiring soccer match, we had lunch in a kaiten sushi; a sushi bar were the sushi is displayed on a loop that goes round and round and round...

Then we went to a SUPER DUPER cheap soccer store! I bought the official Dutch national shirt and white matching shorts. And a training shirt. Guess how much that is, here in Japan? 2000 yen! Oh, sorry. 14,50 Euro! No it is not fake, the Nike card was on it and first two lines of the Wilhelmus (Dutch national anthem) is printed on the inside of the neck. IT'S THE REAL THING! THAT IS CRAZY!

After that we picked up Taku-kun and Rei-kun from Aikido camp in Chiba City, one hour away from Abiko City. We closed the day with some spicy Indian food in an Indian restaurant named Hari Ohm. The staff of the restaurant was Indian and they spoke Japanese. CRAZY! They asked my name. I said it twice, but apperantly I have a Dutch accent. So I had to write it down. Then they got it. In the restaurant were pictures of Hindu Gods like Shiva and Laksmi. And on the tv screen they showed the greatest hits of Amir Khan (Pehla Nasha, Papa Kehte Hain, etc, etc).
The name of the guy was Prakash. He showed me the dvd case of Amir Khan's greatest hits. He triggered the song Pehla Nasha, but when I said Pehla Nasha he looked at me like I was retarded. Again, when I said it 4 more times, he finally got it. Guess I really have a Dutch accent. I ate chicken curry with naan bread and drank mango lassi (SOOOOOOOO CRAZY DELICIOUS). By the way, when we were dining, a small earthquake occurred. Interesting event. Everything was shaking and you saw the water moving. Just like the Tyrannosaur Rex came to grab the guy in Jurassic Park.

At the end of the day, we lit fireworks with the whole family. This was a beautiful closure of a wonderful host family day with the Hiraoka family.
